Making childhood memorable
My name is Linda.
I have been an Educator in Bega (Far South Coast, New South Wales) for over 18 years.
Whilst I have had other careers; Early Childhood is where I have found my niche.
My business runs from Monday to Thursday
8 am to 4.30pm.
My mobile number is 0413 971 590
We paddle in the river and at the beach.
We climb trees, do fire work, play with rocks and sticks.
If nature provides it we will explore it!
I believe that children should be free to choose what direction their learning takes.
Whether that be climbing trees, collecting leaves, drawing or what ever takes their interest.
We take self assessed risks which is crucial to developing into confident young people and adults.
We learn how to manage our bodies and our environment.
We are involved community members.
At Sunshine and Puddles the children are my focus.
Not paperwork!
If we don't get dirty and end up covered in smiles then I am not doing my job properly.
The program at this service is based on the Early Years Learning Framework/My Time Our Place which is directly linked to the National Quality Framework.
